Mr. Anthoine acquired this photograph directly from Hazel Strand as a gift. Signed provenance letter accompanies print.
This piece represents one of the earliest examples of Modernist Photography showing the transition from Pictorialism into Modernism and fully embracing photographic vision to produce abstraction.
